Warren Manzi's long-running crime thriller about a psychiatrist who is accused of killing her husband by a detective who can't quite pin the murder on her. The complication is that the psychiatrist and the detective fall in love.
Far and away the longest running play in New York theatre history. The show has gone through 64,702 bullets (fake ones!), 165 actors, 160 guns, and 9 theatres. Remarkably, leading lady Catherine Russell has missed just four performances in all that time.
